Royal Navy Type 12 ASW Frigates

Whitby and Rothesay Class

This class was the first of a long line of Royal Navy post-war frigates (apart from the destroyer conversions types 15 and 16)

of every Royal Navy anti-submarine warfare frigate up until the Type 21 and Type 22 two decades later.  The "Rothesays"
originally differed only in internal layout but were later refitted to Leander Class frigate standard.
